La Mandarina de Newton is a project that combines science and technology with any other discipline, to create activities, exhibitions, educational events and objects, encouraging different audiences to be curious, innovative and participator and promoting knowledge of a particular matter.

What is science? Science is the ability to be excited and curious about the environment. Science is the knowledge acquired through the scientific method. It is our attempts to understand the world through reason and experimentation. It is the desire to learn, improve, and continue working.

What is technology? The  word technology comes from the Greek. It was formed by Tekno which means art, technique or profession and logo, set of knowledge. It is defined as the set of skills that allow objects and build machines to suit the environment and meet our needs. But are we sure that technology is not something more than just building things?
